A Nordic winter wonderland is popping up this holiday season in Toronto

A Nordic winter wonderland is taking over an entire spot in Toronto and it’s sure to be one of the most magical places to be this entire holiday season.
The Well does it big when it comes to the holidays, and this year the new development is going all out when it comes to the merry festivities. For their holiday season at The Well, they’re creating a Nordic-inspired winter wonderland where people can freely gather outdoors and enjoy curated programming and seasonal activities.
Holiday season fun going on at The Well includes a Nordic winter pop-up bar, a cute vendor village, a holiday pop-up lounge, caroling, a holiday family movie series, winter jazz nights, pet photos with Santa and even a “silent symphony.”
There’s even going to be a rink at The Well where you can skate, and they’ll be having a disco-themed skate night where you can glide to the oldies with a live DJ spinning, as well as entertaining skating performances. You’ll be able to bring your own skates or rent, with all rental proceeds supporting the Out of the Cold program.
The vendor village will feature eight local small businesses selling handcrafted and artisanal goods. From Dec. 3 to 28 Santa will be available for photo ops especially for fur babies, because they deserve fun festive portraits too.
The winter pop-up bar returning to The Well this year is Nordic by BarChef, one of Toronto’s most immersive seasonal cocktail bars known for its Nordic-inspired design that envelops a cozy space. BarChef has a reputation for making some of the best cocktails in Toronto, and will be serving up seasonal creations. The holiday pop-up lounge at The Well will also be serving crafted cocktails to make the season bright.
The seasonal merry festivities are running concurrently with The Well’s After Dark program which is on from Nov. 6 to Dec. 27. The program is on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to late, and features deals on drinks and bites with DJ sets keeping the energy up. You can check out Bridgette Bar, La Plume, Lulu Bar, National and The Dorset for specials like $4 beers, $5 bar rail, $6 wine, half price bottles of wine and $10 cocktails plus bargains on food.
The Well’s Nordic-inspired winter celebrations will be going on from Nov. 12 to Dec. 28. The Well is located at 486 Front St. W.
