A new soul brunch is launching in Toronto, and it’ll have live music with talented performers including one nominated for a Grammy and Juno.
Drom Taberna on Queen West is always a great place to go to see some music and get a drink, but now you’ll have an excuse to head there even earlier.
They’re launching a soul brunch with food, a band and drinks. Food will be provided by Karine’s, which specializes in brunch, Armenian flavours, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free cuisine.
Options on the brunch menu should include bread pudding French toast, shakshouka, a vegan tofu Benedict, basturma Eggs Benedict, a deconstructed Cobb salad, and chicken and waffles.
There’ll be live music by The Sunny Side Bunch, made up of Grammy- and Juno-nominated Michael Shand on keys and vocals, Ryan Spratt on bass and vocals, Adam Beer-Colacino on guitar and vocals, and vocalist Queen Pepper who should also be playing the tambourine and dancing.
Tickets are available online for $40, which includes brunch, a cocktail and of course lots of great music.
Soul brunch will take place at Drom Taberna every Saturday in July from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
