Local grocery store chain Farm Boy has announced they’ll soon be opening three brand new locations.

Farm Boy is known for their selection of produce, meats, organic products and their own signature products. The Ontario-born brand originated in Cornwall as a 300-square-foot produce store in 1981.

The locations are all set to open in Ontario, which will continue the expansion of the brand that continues opening new stores, with over 50 currently open already.

Farm Boy is planning to open locations at 700 Terry Fox Dr. in Kanata, at Bank Street and Dun Skipper Road in Ottawa, and at 39 Huron St. in Collingwood.

Farm Boy has confirmed with YourCityWithIN.com that there’s no official opening date that’s been publicly announced, but says the locations will be open “soon.”

“The excitement for Farm Boy is contagious,” the company said in a press release.

“We hear from countless customers every day, eager to know when a store will be gracing their city. This outpouring of support is truly heartwarming, and we can’t wait to bring the Farm Boy experience to even more communities.”
