A Toronto bar just suddenly closed and has transformed with a majorly different concept.

Come See Me was once decorated with day-glo murals and neon and hosted lots of lively parties, and while you’ll still be able to head to the space for a drink and a good time, much else has changed.

The address that formerly housed Come See Me is now home to Bar Serene, which is still a cocktail bar but has a refreshed look that features lots of blue and sleek details.

“Our cocktail bar upstairs is your new spot for expertly curated drinks with Asian-inspired snacks to go along with it. Unwind with friends and savour the serenity one sip at a time,” reads a social media post from Bar Serene that also says there will be “more to come” downstairs and that they “are looking forward to share what we have been working on.”

If you’re worried about the Tokyo Hot Fried Chicken concept within Come See Me, don’t worry, those are the “Asian-inspired snacks.” The new menu may be a little sleeker, but it’s still basically the same Nashville hot chicken and Japanese street food goodness.

The bar should also still be putting on regular events like R&B dance nights with bottle service. Bar Serene is having their grand opening party on Aug. 10.

Come See Me officially closed as of July 25.
