Weekend Weather: Below-normal temperatures forecast for Toronto

Below-normal temperatures but sunny skies are forecast this weekend for Toronto.
It is expected to warm up on Friday with a high of 24 C and a humidex of 26 C in the afternoon, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. There is a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon and evening.
There is a thunderstorm risk with wind gusts up to 50 km/h in the evening. The low drops down to 12 C.
On Saturday, a mix of sun and cloud is forecast with a high of 17 C. Wind gusts up to 30 km/h are expected. A low of 8 C is expected in the evening.
The first day of June will also be partly sunny with a 30 per cent chance of showers. A high of 17 C and a low of 8 C are expected.
The normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 22 C and lows of 12 C.
But hot weather is on the way with temperatures soaring to highs of 25 C next week.
