An unusual real estate listing in Richmond Hill is getting attention in California and beyond.

The home is at 117 Lucas St. in the Mill Pond area of Richmond Hill, and it is the real estate photos of dolls positioned throughout the home that is drawing attention.

The listing has been up for several months, but it was featured last month by internet personality Seth Hollingsworth out of Los Angeles, California. Hollingsworth’s post has garnered nearly 20,000 likes and dozens of comments.

The listing photos show an older home in need of some TLC.

A plaque at the door notes the home was standing in 1873. The home is listed on Richmond Hill’s heritage inventory and was built around 1850 with additions in 1856 and 1870. Features include a gable roof and flat-headed windows.

The two-bedroom, one-bathroom home had been in the same family for three full generations, the real estate agent, Roddie Saunders, said in the listing. It’s in the heart of Richmond Hill and the asking price has recently come down from $899,000 to $850,000.

Photos from Century 21 Heritage Group Ltd. listing show dolls set up around the home— in the living room, bedrooms and even in the bathtub.

The dolls were made by the late owner and he hoped they would attract attention to the listing, Saunders told media outlets this fall.

While the listing has attracted a lot of attention, many people find the dolls a little frightening.

“I hope all the dolls are not staying,” one person wrote on Reddit.

“The house and furniture are actually adorable,” another person said on Instagram. “With housing prices everywhere, I would take the haunted dolls if I can get a discount.”
