Toronto’s best pizza spots ranked by premium reservation service

A top reservation platform has released its spin on Toronto’s best pizzas.
OpenTable, best known for its restaurant reservation and review platform, released a list this week that included some of the best places in the city to grab a top-notch pizza.
Unlike other takes on the city’s best slice, this list mainly focuses on restaurants that provide whole pizzas, atmosphere, and quality, as opposed to places where you can grab a slice and run.
The list was put together based on an aggregation of overall reviews and booking frequency.
Starting the list is Il Fornello, a chain that hosts a selection of locations across the GTA, including The Danforth, Queen Street, and Bayview. Best known for its woodfire pizzas, this is the perfect space to share a pizza with a partner or pal and grab a drink or two.

Next is Gusto.
This downtown King Street location has a major selection of premium pizzas, ranging from their Diavola, loaded with sundried tomatoes, to their Fungi, an umami-packed delight stacked with oyster and shiitake mushrooms.
Following up, it should be no shock that The Good Son also has good pizza, as they take the third spot on this list. With two locations in the GTA, one on Queen Street and the other in North York, these gourmet pizzas, such as Muana Loa with savory pork jowl and pineapple, are culinary dynamite.
To round things out, next is a Toronto classic with Eataly. This Yorkville classic comes with, amongst quality Italian cuisine, some of the best pizzas you can get downtown.
Closing out the list is Oretta. With three locations on King Street West, downtown, and midtown, this nook for all things Italian has a selection of pizza so massive and so refined, odds are you’ll find something for everyone — one slice at a time.
