Toronto spot offering a $5 brunch menu about to end special

A Toronto spot that has been slinging $5 brunch items this winter is about to wrap up the promotion.
Old School — a frequented restaurant anchored on Dundas St W for the last few years — has been running this program since January, all with the sole purpose of rocking price points “we haven’t seen since 1995!” according to their Instagram page.
The launch of the service was a way to give back to the community for their continued support of the location, as restaurant prices have been steadily rising in tandem with inflation and an ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

In terms of itinerary, the final stretch of the $5 menu, scheduled to wrap up on Feb. 27, includes BLTs, mac n’ cheese, pancakes, waffles and breakfast plates — all coursed out on a weekly schedule.
Old School’s team urges Toronto’s dining public to “bring your people, catch up with old friends, gather the family, and come brunch together.”
