A new year is almost here!
If this worries you because you haven’t gotten a lot checked off your winter bucket list yet, then fear not because this past week proved that Old Man Winter isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Some of the most common winter bucket list items include making hot chocolate, skiing, building a snowman, and having a snowball fight.
Another common bucket list item is snow tubing. And if you feel like venturing outside of Brampton to check this off your list then we have you covered.
Here are the top five places to go snow tubing outside of Hamilton.
5. Horseshoe Resort
Barrie
You don’t have to ski or snowboard to have fun at this resort in the winter.
At the Horseshoe Resort, snow tubers can speed down five chutes over and over again (even all day if they want, the resort is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) with a magic carpet to pull them back up to the top.
Single rides start at $8.
For more information, visit the Horseshoe Resort website.

4. Blue Mountain
Collingwood
It’s hard to choose what to do when you’re at Blue Mountain since there are so many choices, but snow tubing is an excellent option.
Snow tubing at Blue Mountain provides an exhilarating opportunity to experience the mountain in a very unique way.
Tubing passes start at just $14 for youth 12 and under.

3. Chicopee Tube Park
Kitchener
You won’t want to miss out on snow tubing at Chicopee this year.
This 250-foot hill has six chutes and is 900 feet in length, so you’re sure to catch some speed. All day passes start at just $34 for adults and $29 for youth 12 and under.
At Chicopee, tubers can either walk up the hill or ride up on the magic carpet.

2. Sommet Saint-Sauveur (Edelweiss)
Quebec
The snow tubing at Sommet Saint-Sauveur is next level and it is definitely worth a trip to the Ottawa Region.
All day passes start at just $10.19.

1. Arrowhead Provincial Park
Huntsville
Dinner and a show, that’s how the saying goes right? Well, that’s what you’re getting when you experience snow tubing at Arrowhead Park, kind of.
Snow tubing at this park isn’t just your typical ride up a magic carpet and slide down a hill tubing experience (although that still is incredibly fun). The hill at Arrowhead takes tubers through a campground road, so not only will you get to have fun tubing but you’ll be able to enjoy the beauty of your natural forest surroundings.
Tubing and a show!
