One of the most expensive homes in Toronto is on the market, listed for nearly $50 million.
The mansion at 15 High Point Rd. is a “masterpiece” in the French Revival style with all the benefits of contemporary living, according to the listing from Sotheby’s International Realty Canada.
Built in 2007, the home was a seven-year collaborative effort involving numerous European artists, artisans, designers, collectors, and gold-leaf gilders, Sotheby’s says.

“Undeniably, this is a magnificent dream realized, a world-class architectural endeavour at the highest level,” the listing reads.

It is constructed from 20,000 pristine white Bulgaria Vraca limestone components artfully reinforced with concrete, the listing notes.

At 16,684 square feet, the home has a total of eight bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, and sits on a two-acre property, according to the listing.

The main level consists of a living room, dining room, great room, library, sitting room, family room and a kitchen.

Luxury features include an elevator, indoor pool, outdoor pool and bedrooms and bathrooms made for royalty.

Located in the prestigious Bridle Path neighbourhood, also known as Millionaires Row, this place is about a 10-minute walk to the home of famed musician Drake.

It’s also near private clubs and golf clubs.
“All the amenities that an elite family might require,” the listing notes.

The list price is $49,950,000—the most expensive on the market in Toronto right now.
