From extreme sports with motorcycles and skateboards to live concerts and historic cooking lessons, there’s plenty happening under the sun in Mississauga this weekend. Here’s what’s on from July 11 to July 13:


July 11

JACKALOPE 2025

The festival features street and vert skateboarding, bouldering competitions with international pros, BASE jumpers, breaking, Moto X demos, food trucks, pop-up shops, and more.

Adina V

Learn to Fish 2025

The Learn to Fish program is a free, hands-on experience designed to teach new anglers the basics of fishing in Ontario. Each two-hour session includes one hour of instruction and one hour of supervised fishing. Registration is required.

Jessica Lockwood

Port Credit Community Ride

Starting at Port Credit Arena, this guided ride takes you along tree-lined boulevards, shaded streets, and waterfront trails. Follow the Credit River to Lake Ontario and take in the lakeside parks, marinas, and harbour views. Choose between an 8 km or 16 km route on cycling-friendly roads and trails.

Historic Cooking and Crafts at Benares
