July 11

Swahili Heritage Month Celebration

Brampton’s inaugural Swahili Heritage Month event includes a community flag raising and reception in recognition of World Kiswahili Language Day, which celebrates cultural diversity and peace.

Pavilion of Culture at Carabram

Experience cultural exhibits, traditional performances, and international cuisine from countries including Portugal, Vietnam, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, and Korea. Admission is free on Friday; Carabram passports are required Saturday and Sunday for access to all pavilions across the city.
