One of Burlington’s most popular fundraising events is coming up in November.
The Soup Bowl Fundraiser, an annual event hosted by the Art Gallery of Burlington, is back in-person this year and is jam-packed with activities.
The Art Gallery of Burlington is excited to announce the return of their in-person annual Soup Bowl Fundraiser – back with more flavour than ever before!
Burlington residents are invited to a Saturday Night Social of music, art, drink and, of course, soup.
This year’s event will feature the fan favourite, one-of-a-kind, hand-made ceramic soup bowls, along with gourmet appetizers and soup shots, live musical entertainment, a short film screening, an amazing silent auction and so much more!
Funds raised during the event, which celebrates art, culture and culinary creativity, support vital, free family and children’s art programming.
Guests take home their own ceramic bowl, along with a goodie bag of artisanal dry soup mix, recipe cards and an invitation to an exclusive, on-line chef-led cooking class!
Other exciting activities during the evening include:
- Live musical performances by classical ensemble Cabin Party and eclectic party band Radio Merchant
- Gourmet appetizers and soup shots from local chefs
- Cash bar and fun, interactive photo booth
- Live pottery wheel demonstration
- Short film screening of The Pottery Maker, 1926, by Robert Flaherty
- AGB Shop artist trunk sale featuring the works of Johanna Brierley
- Silent auction
The event is being held Saturday, Nov. 26, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Art Gallery of Burlington, 1333 Lakeshore Rd.
