One of Toronto’s coziest nooks for lunch and dinner is finally launching a breakfast menu.
La Cubana, a storied Cuban restaurant best known for its Ossington location, alongside its now-closed original spot in Roncesvalles, has been serving incredibly authentic cuisine in and around the downtown core for nearly a decade.
Now, just in time for the long haul that is a Toronto winter, the location has announced a full-scale brunch menu.
The announcement has been met with much enthusiasm online, as La Cubana, a favoured spot to warm one’s bones during chilly Toronto evenings, has now thrown its hat into the ever-competitive Toronto brunch market.

In terms of cuisine, La Cubana’s brunch menu naturally features Cuban-style coffee and mimosas, as well as incredibly dynamic takes on brunch classics.
Menu items include a Cuban omelet with chorizo and gruyere, short rib hash, and huevos sofrito, an aromatic braised base of veggies and spices with skillet-cooked eggs and toast for dipping.
La Cubana is also not relegating this breakfast service to just the weekend, as it is anticipated to run seven days a week.
For those looking to check out La Cubana’s new brunch service, head to their 92 Ossington Ave location in Toronto’s west end.
