A popular cafe in Toronto is expanding its offerings to include cocktails to celebrate summer.
NEO Coffee Bar, a cozy cafe franchise with locations scattered throughout Toronto, has been known to debut seasonal menus whenever the leaves fall, bloom, or are just not there at all.
To celebrate summer, a time when Toronto is arguably its most ‘Toronto-y,’ NEO is launching a new summer menu that — apart from dynamic and innovative cafe fare — will also branch out into the world of cocktails to push the envelope even further.
In terms of summertime treats, all NEO locations will debut drinks like the espresso fizz with soda and yuzu, as well as the orange cream hojicha latte, complete with silky orange cold foam and a citrus finish.
In terms of seasonal snacks, a lime grape cake and a coconut cream cookie choux are the standouts.

However, the stars of the show are truly NEO’s new cocktails, which include the ‘Midnight Orchid,’ layered with ripe strawberry and plum, while having a smoky finish, as well as the ‘Static Bloom,’ featuring a Szechuan-pepper whisky, and a sweet pandan finish.
While all major NEO locations will host the new seasonal summer menu, the cocktails will only be available at their King and Spadina location, after 5 p.m. mark.
NEO Coffee Bar’s seasonal summer menu is set to launch next week on June 1.
