Popular street market returning to downtown Toronto this weekend

One of Toronto’s most cherished outdoor events is coming back this weekend.

Right in the heart of Kensington Market — Toronto’s iconic downtown neighbourhood — the Kensington Flea Market is finally set to return this weekend, after many months on ice throughout the winter.

The major outdoor street market is set to take place every weekend throughout the summer and early fall, and will feature numerous local vendors, offering up local eats, vintage clothes, handmade jewelry, and much, much more.

Beyond that, those who want to truly take in the long-awaited bloom of spring, unbothered by the big city, the Kensington Flea Market also famously features ‘carless Sundays,’ where sections of Kensington are pedestrian-only.

The Kensington Flea Market is set to kick off this weekend (Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3) at 216 Augusta Ave.
