A new sandwich spot is opening in a popular Toronto neighbourhood.
Uncle Pete’s Bread Co., which made waves within the last year with a pop-up sandwich and pizza service, is set to open its first brick-and-mortar location next week in downtown Toronto’s Kensington Market.
Known for its incredible in-house focaccia bread, Uncle Pete’s Bread Co. has built a reputation on providing incredibly flavourful creations like a caprese focaccia pizza, with fresh ricotta, pesto, and heirloom tomatoes, as well as a stacked Italian trio sandwich.
While this new location will focus on sandwiches, the creators behind this new culinary player are likely cooking up some incredibly dynamic and fresh creations.
Uncle Pete’s sandwich shop is scheduled to open on Saturday, Aug. 30, on 161 Baldwin Street.
