Popular morning Tim Hortons stop closes doors permanently in Oakville

A popular spot in Oakville to grab a coffee and a donut while heading out to work in the morning has closed for good.

The Tim Hortons, located at 754 Bronte Rd. in Oakville, where workers often grabbed a steaming hot cup of java before hitting the QEW to head to work, has permanently closed its doors.

The store left signs on the front doors to let customers know.

“We apologize for the inconvenience,” was the message left along with the closing date of Oct. 29th, 2021.

The coffee shop located next to the Pioneer Gas Station just south of the QEW was a daily stop for some workers.

“We always went there in the morning before getting on the highway with the truck to head out to the construction site,” a disappointed Manuel Soares said.

“It was right on my morning route.”

The nearest Tim Hortons location is just north of the QEW off Third Line, located at 1530 North Service Rd. W. in Oakville.
