Popular donut chain opening new location in Toronto

One of the world’s most popular donut chains is opening a new location in downtown Toronto.

Those who have been out and about this summer may have noticed — on the corner of College and Ossington — that a brand new Krispy Kreme sign has appeared on a newly renovated building.

Numerous comments celebrating the chain’s arrival in Toronto’s historic Little Italy neighbourhood have been circulating throughout social media.

With one comment from the Dufferin Grove Community Facebook page stating, “Love it!”

While one Reddit user on a similar post about the new spot said, “This is dangerous… Krispy Kreme is my weakness.”

The chain famously sells expertly made glazed donuts, artisanal coffees, and other specialty beverages.

This now marks the seventh Krispy Kreme location in Toronto, with other spots located at Bloor West Village, Dupont Street, Harbord Street, and Danforth Avenue.

While no official opening date has been revealed, with the sign already up, College Street will likely have a sweet new addition sooner rather than later.
