New restaurant offering sneak peak at Toronto food festival

A new restaurant coming to Toronto is having a sneak peek event at a Toronto food festival.

Renso Pho-Potle, a cozy new pho spot, will be operating as a drop-in dining space where guests can design their own fully customizable pho experience.

While the debut of this new location on Toronto’s Queen St is a few months away, as it is scheduled to open in September, culinary minds behind Renso Pho-Potle still want to give Toronto a little taste of what’s to come.

Flavours from the restaurant will be on full display at the upcoming Taste of Vietnam festival, set to take place at Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square from July 16 to 18.

“Before we open our doors later this summer, we want to give people a first taste of what Renso Pho-Potle is all about — bold Vietnamese flavours, fresh ingredients and a fun, customizable dining experience,” said Linda Vu, founder and Chairwoman of Renso Pho-Potle, in an official statement.

While Renso Pho-Potle will be built on a foundation of dynamic broth-based Vietnamese hot noodle soup and their one and only ‘dry pho,’ selections offered at the festival will feature additional summer fare, like seasoned skewers, shrimp tacos and the iconic Saigon Street Bahn Mi sandwich.

The key mind behind Renso Pho-Potle’s menu, Chef Bich Nguyen, is thrilled to showcase what’s on offer during this preview, stating “We’re excited to meet people where they are this summer and share a preview of the dishes, sauces and flavours that will define our restaurant.”
