New dessert location with unique twist opens in trendy Toronto area

A new dessert spot has sprung up in Toronto’s trendiest dining district.
Cherry On Top Gelato & Cafe announced its official opening last week on Instagram to much praise from the neighbourhood it calls home — Ossington Ave.
While not much has been revealed online in terms of the menu, the location has proclaimed to excel at gelato, coffee, and pastries, adding a splash of flavour to the popular street, best known for big patio days out and perfect date night locales.

Leading up to its opening, Cherry On Top’s social media team has been posting a wide selection of desserts, hinting at things to come, while also confirming that despite gelato’s well-known base ingredients — milk and eggs — vegan options will still be available.
Unsurprisingly, from what has been shown online, those getting themselves a hearty helping of gelato can expect (if requested) a substantial amount of cherries to top it off.
Cherry On Top Gelato & Cafe is now officially open at 134 Dundas St W in Toronto.
