We’d like to open for Drake, because he’s been steadily reppin’ Toronto

So, what’s your favourite thing to do when you aren’t doing your music?

We spend a lot of time in the studio creating, if not , we’re out at a show supporting the city. Otherwise, its family time. We live a real simple life based around making music.

What is your Mississauga connection?

Born & Raised

What’s your favourite place in Mississauga to perform and why?

Celebration Square. It’s the largest stage in our hometown.

Where do you draw inspiration from when you write your lyrics and what’s your favourite part about the process? 

We listen to a lot of classic funk, soul & disco, so we draw our inspiration from the vibes of the past. All of our lyrics are 100 percent organic, and is a reflection of our everyday lives.  

Who are your favourite musicians? Why?

It’s so diverse, but Otis Redding, Slum Village, 2Pac, Roy Ayers, Nirvana, Quincy Jones, Nas, Roc Marciano, Kendrick Lamar, Little Brother, Janet Jackson, Redman & Method Man, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, GangStarr, Jimi Hendrix, Steely Dan,. Simply because our taste in music is forever growing.

What are five things you can’t live without?

1.The Studio 2.Backwoods 3.Chicken 4.Video Games 5. The Internet 

What’s the coolest gig you ever did? Why?
Opening for Kendrick Lamar at Sound Academy for his Canadian debut 2010.
