A big-time collab is happening in Toronto between two culinary powerhouses.
Cherry St Bar-B-Que, a Michelin-recognized institution famed for its location in the Port Lands, is not letting winter keep the vibes down and is collaborating with Slowhand Pizza, a Detroit-style pizzeria known for immaculate thick-crust pizza.
The byproduct of this partnership is the ‘War Pigs pie, a pizza with a sourdough base, house cheese blend, Cherry St Bar-B-Que pulled pork, BBQ sauce, pickled red onions and jalapeños.
This collab, on paper, is available for one day only today (Dec. 8) at the main Cherry St Bar-B-Que location down by the lakeside.

However, starting later this week, Slowhand will be slinging this specialized pie at their Pape St location until supplies run out.
For those who can’t wait, head to Cherry St Bar-B-Que today for the War Pigs pizza, as they will be handing them out until 8 p.m.
