Gamers, collectors, and pop culture fans should mark their calendars for a major event in Mississauga next month.
GAMEX, one of Canada’s biggest gaming and collectibles expos, will take over the Mississauga Grand Banquet & Event Centre on Sunday, July 6, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The venue is located near Hurontario Street and Britannia Road.
Organizers say the 2025 edition of GAMEX will bring together fans of video games, Pokémon, trading cards, anime, cosplay, and esports for a one-day, all-ages, family-friendly convention.
Over 125 vendors from across the country will be in attendance, offering tens of thousands of video games, trading cards, collectibles and memorabilia for attendees to buy, sell and trade.
The event will also feature a massive gaming zone, a cosplay component, and tournaments for fan-favourite games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Guests can also expect contests, raffles, VR demos, and a vendor hall filled with rare and retro games.
Last year’s GAMEX drew more than 3,500 attendees, and organizers say this year is shaping up to be even bigger.
“We bring the hottest vendors and gaming stores from across Canada into Mississauga, all under one roof for this one-day event,” they said.
Admission is free for kids aged 12 and under when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
