Massive Toronto block party set to return this winter

A massive street party is coming back to Toronto for a winter follow-up.

The Geary Block Party closed out the summer back in September to much fanfare, as it ran from sunup well past sundown, and featured numerous food vendors, artists, and late-night parties that ended Toronto’s summer season with a bang.

Now, after much success, an open call has been put out for local artisans, vendors, and much more to participate in the block party’s upcoming winter incarnation.

“We’re building the next chapter of Geary, and we want YOU to be part of it. Artists, musicians, food vendors, makers, and local businesses — the Winter Block Party is your stage,” read the official Instagram post.

This past September’s event saw major players in the area participate, such as Blood Brothers Brewing and General Public, one of Toronto’s top trending restaurants.

With open calls for new players to take part in the massive community bash, who knows what new talent will sign on?

But it is sure to showcase some of Toronto’s top talent from across numerous disciplines.
