Major street food collaboration coming to popular Toronto sake bar

A rare collaboration is coming to Toronto this weekend from two major institutions.
See You Soon, an up-and-coming collaborative chef’s studio, which has already launched major events at places like KOTN and Soho House, is scheduled to take over the kitchen at Little Portugal’s beloved Sakai Bar.
While Sakai is known for featuring a phenomenal selection of in-house bar snacks, such as sensational katsu sandwiches, on-the-fly hotpot, tartare, and more, this upcoming collaboration promises to be something special.
A recent collaborative Instagram post by both groups indicated that the three-day partnership will provide a new take on Izakaya street food fare, with a focus on Filipino and Vietnamese flavours.

Running as usual alongside this sweeping team-up will be Sakai Bar’s extensive drinks menu, featuring tons of rare sake and highballs galore.
The See You Soon and Bar Saki collaboration will be running this weekend from Jan. 22 to Jan. 24.
To keep the streetside vibe going, Bar Sakai will be doing walk-ins only, so if you’re in the neighbourhood, drop in for a truly rare Toronto collab.
