Major antiques market coming to quaint GTA harbour

A super quaint antique market is setting up shop on a popular GTA waterfront.
Antiques At The Harbour is a new event hosted by Oakville’s Sunday Antique Market, and is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville.
Using the harbour as a waterside market, the event plans to harness the charm of the town while providing treasure-hunting visitors the opportunity to enjoy some sun and cool breezes coming off the lake while poking around antiques.
“For more than three decades, I’ve organized The Sunday Antique Market in Toronto and Mississauga,” said Marlene Cook, Event Organizer, in an official statement. “Now, I’m thrilled to create a vibrant new show in Oakville where people can enjoy the excitement of discovery in such a beautiful waterfront setting.”
Selections on display include vintage décor, fine clothing, and rare collector’s pieces.
The Antiques At The Harbour event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 27.
