Legendary Toronto bar to celebrate anniversary with wild contest

A legendary Toronto bar is celebrating a decade in the biz in the best way possible.
The Shameful Tiki Room, a popular Parkdale haunt that relocated a bit further down Queen Street West this year, has been known as an iconic city hangout, with garish tropical cocktails and kitschy vibes.
Now, to celebrate their tenth year slinging drinks, they are having a crab rangoon eating contest — yes, you heard it right — where guests can enroll to see if their appetites are worthy of the renowned location.

This challenge is set to a timer and ends when the first contestant eats 20 of the savoury appetizers in the shortest amount of time.
The Shameful Tiki Room has stated that spots for the contest are filling fast, but still encourages those looking to celebrate the space and the spirit of competition to swing by this Saturday, Nov. 29, for the event.
