‘Legendary’ 24/7 BBQ joint opens first location in Brampton

There’s a new BBQ restaurant now open 24-hours a day in Brampton that promises “legendary” BBQ, pizza, wings and more dishes made with South Asian flavours.

Mississauga-based Nawab’s Legendary BBQ opened its first Brampton location in October, serving “authentic Mughlai BBQ flavours infused with a Western twist.”

The restaurant chain was started by Muneer Ahmed after moving to Canada from India, and all menu items are made with 100 per cent Halal-certified meat, Nawab’s says.

“At Nawab’s Legendary BBQ, we take pride in offering a diverse menu that caters to every palate,” the restaurant’s website reads.

The chain says its “commitment to authenticity is evident in our 100 per cent Halal offerings, cooked with quality ingredients and taste.”

BBQ items include spiced Chicken Tikka and the tender Beef Dora Seekh Kabab, marinated with Nawab’s “special blend of spices and grilled to perfection.” Nawab’s also has pizzas like the Chicken Tikka Pizza, Spicy Tandoori Chicken momos, rolls, burgers and wings, among other dishes.

Nawab’s menu also features breakfast and brunch options, including a grilled cheese sandwich, spinach feta and egg white wrap, and a traditional Halwa Puri Platter.
