A two-day immersive kite festival is coming to Hamilton on July 15 and 16.

Drawing inspiration from the Indian festival of ‘Uttarayan’ (northward movement of the sun), this event aims to bring the same essence and enthusiasm of the Indian kite festival to the city, according to organizers.

Taking place at 159 Carlisle Rd., between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to show off their kite flying skills, explore various Indian food stalls and witness live music performances.

Whether you’re a seasoned kite enthusiast or venturing into the realm of kite flying for the first time, the festival organizers assure an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

To ensure everyone can fully engage in the event, all necessary materials, including kites, will be available for purchase online and onsite.
