Huge party to launch holiday market in Toronto this weekend

One of the city’s largest holiday markets is kicking off this week with a massive party.
The Leslieville Christmas Market, a beloved staple of Toronto’s east end, is set to launch this upcoming Friday at 388 Carlaw Ave.
Organizers behind the event, in partnership with countless local vendors, artists, and artisans, are keenly aware that an event of this magnitude requires a little bit of celebration to ensure that the festive season starts in style.
As a result, this Friday’s launch event will feature exclusive one-day shopping deals, inclusive tastings of over 100 wines and spirits crafted by local craftspeople, and a variety of live performances.

Aerial artists will be dangling from the ceiling in festive fashion, while Spanish guitar and live DJ sets will ensure a party that will be one to remember.
As for the remainder of the Leslieville Christmas Market’s schedule for the upcoming weekend, free hot chocolate, food tastings, face painting and holiday classics will be playing in the backdrop to much merriment.
Vendors highlighted at the launch party will also be dotted throughout the market, providing ample opportunities for seasonal shopping.
And of course, it would not be a holiday market without a chance to stop by and get a picture taken with Santa.
The Leslieville Christmas Market’s launch party is set to kick off this Friday, Dec. 5, while normal market operations will run from Dec. 6 to Dec. 7.
