Huge 4-day ribfest comes to Toronto

Rib fans get ready—a four-day festival comes to Toronto this Canada Day weekend.
The Toronto Ribest runs from Saturday, June 28 to July 1 at Centennial Park in Etobicoke. On average, over 60,000 people attend this annual festival, according to organizers.
The fundraising event for the Rotary Club of Etobicoke features eight ribbers including Billy Bones BBQ, Sticky Fingers, Uncle Sam’s Barbecue, Mississippi Burning, Tor B, Crabby’s BBQ Shack Inc., Camp 31 and Silver Bullet BBQ.
There are also food vendors with other fare including fries, blooming onions, empanadas, lemonade and sweet treats.
The music line-up includes rock, pop, folk, jazz and reggae.
Other attractions include kid’s rides, line dancing and celebrity food judging.
The festival is in Centennial Park, 256 Centennial Park Rd. Saturday to Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Admission is by donation. Rotary asks for a $5 donation in support of the community at the gate.
