Homes with amazing Christmas lights in Toronto

Toronto homes with amazing Christmas lights and displays are dotted around the city.
While many homeowners decorate for the holidays, there are a few places in the city that could rival the Griswolds’ home in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
If you have some free time over Christmas and New Year’s, and love the festival season, take a drive or walk around the city to see these spots.
Here are some of the best Christmas displays in Toronto:
165 Benjamin Boake Trail
The DeSario family light display has raised funds for Sick Children’s Hospital for more than 25 years. In that time the family has raised over $300,000. The lights are illuminated each night until 11 p.m. The final night is Jan. 6. The home is located in North York, near Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue West.

188 Brock St.
This Brock Street home has been going all out for many years. The homeowners pack their tiny front yard with lights and some vintage Christmas figurines. It’s located south of Dundas West Street in Brockton Village. If you are in the neighbourhood, the home at 262 Brock Ave. also decorates for the holidays.

Somerset Avenue
The home at 6 Somerset Ave. in Dovercourt Village is known for its epic display, which includes a light tunnel. Every inch of the front yard is decked out with lights. The lights have returned for 2025. In the same neighbourhood, 34 Somerset has a Star Wars-themed display.
Inglewood Drive
Known as “Kringlewood”, this Toronto street transforms into a festive trail as many homeowners display matching 14-foot inflatable Santas. There are approximately 50 Santas along the street this year. Inglewood Drive is in Moore Park, off of St. Clair Avenue near Mt. Pleasant Road.

Brenyon Way
Two homes at 226 and 228 Brenyon Way are fully decorated this year and lit from around sunset to 10:30 p.m. nightly. The homeowners ask that visitors stay on the sidewalk, follow signage regarding restricted areas and refrain from entering the lawn displays. These homes are located in the Malvern neighbourhood of Scarborough.
