A restaurant that focuses on nutrient-packed meals is expanding in Toronto.

Impact Kitchen, which has locations in Corktown, King West, Summerhill, Harbourfront and Liberty Village, plans to open two new restaurants, according to a post on their Instagram.

Founded in 2015, Impact Kitchen is the brainchild of former personal trainer and nutrition expert, Josh Broun, and Frank Toskan (co-founder of MAC Cosmetics).

The focus is healthy, gluten-free food — from paleo to vegan — and fresh smoothies and juices.

A variety of power bowls, salads and power breakfasts are on the menu. Meals are made with fresh, organic produce.

The two new locations will open this fall in midtown, 2555 Yonge St. and downtown at 181 Bay St.
