The Testaments, starring Chase Infiniti (Presumed Innocent), Lucy Halliday ( Blue Jean) and Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s Tale), was slated to start filming in Toronto in April, according to Hollywood North Buzz.
Based on the 2019 Margaret Atwood novel of the same name, The Testaments is set 15 years after the events of her original 1985 book, The Handmaid’s Tale.

Season one of the new series is filming under the working title “Dollhouse” in Toronto until Aug. 22, Hollywood North Buzz said.

The new series is set after the events of the Handmaid’s Tale series, according to a People magazine story. It will follow June’s daughter, Hannah (or Agnes, as she has been renamed by Gilead), and a new generation of young women growing up in Gilead.
Chase Infiniti stars as Hannah, and Ann Dowd reprises her role as Aunt Lydia. Lucy Halliday is Daisy, a Canadian teenager who discovers her unexpected connection to the oppressive regime of Gilead.
The release date for the new series hasn’t been announced yet.
