A stretch of Barton St. in Hamilton will be closed on Saturday (June 11) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to accommodate the Barton Village Festival.
Motorists will be turned away at Barton between Victoria Ave. and Wentworth St.
After a more than two-year hiatus due to the COVD-19 pandemic, the Barton Village Festival is “back and better than ever,” with a jam-packed day of entertainment — featuring live music, performers, family activities, and local food and shop vendors.
Over the course of six years, the festival has evolved from a small gathering at Woodlands Park to a car-free festival attracting more than 20,000 visitors in one day.
