Guess Who’s Coming to The Living Arts Centre in Mississauga?

Being so close to Toronto, it’s easy to forget that Mississauga has its own arts and culture scene made up of mindfully curated galleries, incredible local talent and expansive performance centres.

The Living Arts Centre recently released its 2017/18 season and it appears the City Centre performing arts centre has more than a few interesting acts scheduled to entertain audiences over the coming months.

One big name performer?

The one and only Gordon Lightfoot, who has recorded 20 albums and received five Grammy nominations, will play at the Living Arts Centre on Nov. 10 at 8:00 p.m.

As for the rest of the acts, the season lineup includes:

  • Whose Live Anyway improv comedy – Sept. 16 at 8:00 p.m.
  • The Basically Basie Big Band: Basie’s Ladies – Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m.
  • A Looking Back Retro Music Concert – Sept. 30 at 8:00 p.m.
  • Girish Karnad’s Broken Images stageplay – Oct. 1 at 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
  • Second Annual Best of Open Mic Live – Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Women Who Rock ft. Diemonds – Oct. 13 at 8:00 p.m.
  • Mystic India: The World Tour – Oct. 19-20 at 8:00 p.m.
  • Peter Katz – Oct. 27 – 7:30 p.m.
  • Orbison and The Everly Bros. Reimagined – Oct. 27 – 8:00 p.m.
