Halloween is just around the corner, and the award-winning Pumpkins After Dark outdoor event is here to get you, your family and friends into the fall and Halloween spirit.

You can experience Pumpkins After Dark in four different cities across Canada, including Milton, Ontario, located at the Country Heritage Park at 8560 Tremaine Rd.

This one-of-a-kind fully-immersive walk-through experience with next-level pumpkin sculptures and displays is paired with special effects and music that take you through an hour-long journey.

The main attraction at Pumpkins After Dark is its scenic 1 kilometre walking path which entails over 6,000 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns, all curated by a team of local Canadian artists. These artists have worked year-round to produce more than 80% of new installations for attendees to feast their eyes on. The installations have been uniquely-crafted and include a larger-than-life carnival scene with a haunted scary-go-round, a giant spider tunnel and classic horror monsters!

Don’t sweat it if you can’t attend the event before, or on Halloween, because the Milton location will be hosting this event up until Saturday, November 5 – allowing those interested an extra week to enjoy the spooky fun.

This event is sure to spark anyone’s interest as it appeals to all ages and offers many picturesque photo opportunities. The Pumpkins After Dark event can serve as the perfect date night and offers fun outing opportunities for groups of friends. This event is also a great chance to get the whole family involved, especially in getting little ones excited about upcoming Halloween and fall festivities.

In previous years, displays have included a variety of themes ranging from superheroes, mythical creatures, movie and pop culture icons, and dinosaurs and dragons.

On top of the larger-than-life masterpieces, you can expect to see pumpkin sculptures, costumed actors interacting with guests, and live carving demonstrations by Kara, the “Pumpkin Queen of Cambridge” and one of the master 3D pumpkin carvers, Joe. And, in case you get hungry or need a snack, there will be plenty of fall treats and sweets available.

Anyone interested in attending Pumpkins After Dark should note that tickets can only be pre-purchased online for up to $21.95 (use discount code SGA10 for 10% off!). Children 3 and under are free. For groups of 20 or more, you can contact the organizers of the Pumpkins After Dark event at [email protected] to receive a discounted group rate.
