There’s still time to enjoy summer with a free music festival plus yoga at Trillium Park in Ontario Place.
The Wavelength Summer Thing, a music and art celebration, returns for two full days of live performances on Aug. 9 and 10, according to organizers.
The community gathering is free and showcases a range of music, from indie folk to psychedelic electronica to poetic hip-hop.
Presented by Wavelength Music – an independent, artist-run non-profit dedicated to championing emerging music and arts – this year’s event marks the organization’s 25th anniversary.
Festival goers can also expect immersive art and installations, food vendors, interactive activities, including a mobile sauna by Public Sweat, a licensed bar by Great Lakes Brewery, an indie market and lakeside campfires.
