You can spend the day feasting on Caribbean street food, dancing to vibrant rhythms and soaking up all the tropical vibes—no plane ticket required.

The Caribbean Street Food Festival will be held on September 1 at the STACKT Market, located at 28 Bathurst St.

Organized by Passport to Caribbean Food and Jamaican Eats magazine, the event will offer a variety of authentic Caribbean dishes including doubles, patties, jerk chicken and ginger beer. Guests can also enjoy free samples of unique treats like breadfruit flour carrot cake and muffins.

Beyond the food, attendees can partake in games such as hoola hooping, an egg and spoon race, Dominoes, and Ludo. There will also be opportunities to win fun prizes throughout the day.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event will feature rhythmic drum circles and plenty of opportunities for guests to dance.

The event will run from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and is free to attend! Just be sure to grab your tickets in advance through the event’s official website.
