A massive two-day festival is coming to Toronto next week.

The Aga Khan Museum (and Aga Khan Park), located off the Don Valley, is set to bring back the Rhythms of Canada festival, a multi-day celebration of diverse artists representing Canada’s cultural voices.

“Year after year, this vibrant festival brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to dance, sing, and celebrate. It’s a powerful reminder of the ability of the arts to bring communities together and bridge cultures,” said Dr. Sascha Priewe, Director of Collections and Public Programs at the Aga Khan Museum, in a statement.

The festival will include live performing artists, interactive activities, and food.

Headlining acts include Natasha Noorani, a genre-breaking musician from Pakistan, KAYAM, a Canadian artist who blends pop, Afrobeats, and R&B influences, and the Eagleheart Singers, a drum group from the Moose Cree and Wikwemikong First Nations — to name a few.

A separate collection of Canada Day festivities is also scheduled, including a Citizenship Ceremony hosted by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.

The Rhythms of Canada festival is scheduled for June 30 and July 1.
