A massive flagship boutique store for designer jewelry is coming to a prominent Toronto district.

Michael Hill is set to open a brand new flagship location in Toronto’s Yorkville community, one of the city’s busiest shopping hubs.

The brand, which originated in New Zealand, has been cutting diamonds in the great white north for the better part of two decades, and representatives have indicated that this new major hub in Toronto is the culmination of years of providing Canada with a certain standard of elegance.

“Last year, we celebrated 45 years of heritage, and now we’re thrilled to share our refreshed brand with Canadian customers in a space that reflects modern, accessible luxury,” CEO of Michael Hill, Jonathan Waecker said in an official statement.

In terms of design, the new storefront is set to reflect modern aesthetics built around accessibility, with a pinch of extravagance, featuring natural shades throughout, raw timber lining, stone, and luxury textiles.

According to representatives, every detail has been curated to generate what has been described as a multi-sensory experience.

“Our flagship stores are designed to engage all the senses,” added Jo Feeney, Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve created a space where customers can truly feel the essence of our brand — thoughtful, elevated, and welcoming.”

To celebrate its grand opening, the new Michael Hill store will host two weekend events following the debut, where catered treats will be available for guests, as well as a handful of in-store promotions.

The new Michael Hill storefront is set to open this week in Yorkville on Nov. 1.
