First-of-its-kind bagel festival coming to Toronto

A new festival for all things bagels is coming to Toronto.
While our fair city is often in the shadow of Montreal and New York when it comes to bagels, we still have a huge roster of talent when it comes to providing quality schmears that put Toronto on the culinary map.
That’s why Henderson Brewing Co. in the Junction Triangle is launching the first annual ‘Bagels, Schmears, Solly’s & Beer Fest.’
Described as “a full day dedicated to one of the greatest food groups ever assembled” by the official Instagram post for the event, the festival will take place on the brewery grounds this spring.

Big bagel players of the city include Kettlemans, AM Bagel, Bagel World, and Gryfe’s Bagel Bakery, to name a few.
To pair perfectly with the bagels in rotation, other city favourites will be in attendance as well, including Kwinter’s Hot Dogs, pickles from Brined, and Solly’s Craft Soda.
Beyond that, the hosts at Henderson Brewing Co. will be slinging crisp pints all day, alongside live music and other attractions.
The first-ever Bagels, Schmears, Solly’s & Beer Fest is set to take place at 128A Sterling Rd on Saturday, April 25.
