Major fireworks cruises are coming to Ontario’s most popular tourist spots.
According to a recent release from City Cruises Canada, two major provincial landmarks, Niagara Falls and Gananoque, in the heart of the 1000 Islands, are both set to host rotating programming featuring massive fireworks displays.
“Fireworks are meant to be experienced, not just watched,” said Mory DiMaurizio, Chief Operating Officer at City Cruises Canada. “Celebrating these holidays from the water offers a truly unforgettable perspective – bringing guests closer to the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the occasion.”
In Niagara Falls, the fireworks cruises will kick off on weekend rotations starting on May 14, and will be featured every weekend until June 19, after which, fireworks programming will be taking place every night.
As for Gananoque, a Canada Day Fireworks Cruise is scheduled as a two-hour experience that sails past the Admiralty and Navy Island groups, as well as waterfront estates and picturesque island cottages, and will also feature a full-service bar with wine, cocktails, beer and a selection of snacks.
City Cruises Canada encourages all who are interested in these massive celebrations on the water to book now, as tickets are expected to go fast.
