Celebrity chef set to take over celebrated GTA pub kitchens

A favored Ontario brewhouse is bringing on some major celebrity talent.
Beertown Public House, a cherished chain of pubs dotted throughout the GTA, will be showcasing a curated menu by Anna Olson, a celebrated pastry chef best known for her work on Canada’s Fresh with Anna Olson on the Food Network.
Olson, who has just launched a new cookbook, will be making appearances at several Beertown locations in the coming weeks to work alongside kitchen staff to craft curated dishes from her new cookbook, such as ‘Chicken Chasseur,’ ‘Low & Slow BBQ Back Ribs,’ ‘Autumn Apple Slab Pie,’ and ‘Weeknight Chocolate Cake.’
“Having Anna Olson in our restaurants is a treat for all of us,” says John Mackay, President of Beertown Public House, in an official statement. “Guests will have the chance to taste her incredible recipes, meet her in person, and enjoy an unforgettable evening of food, conversation, and fun.”
Based on information provided by Beertown, the events are scheduled to run from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Oakville (Nov. 4), Etobicoke (Nov. 6), Cambridge (Nov. 11), and London White Oaks (Nov. 13) Beertown Public House locations, respectively.
“Anna’s passion for approachable, flavour-forward cooking makes these events truly special,” adds Mackay. “Whether guests come for the food, the experience, or to meet Anna herself, it’s an evening not to be missed.”
