Barbie-themed pool party coming to Brampton waterpark

A popular waterpark in Brampton is celebrating the release of the new Barbie movie by planning its own Barbie-themed pool party.
On Saturday, July 22, Wet’n’Wild will be hosting its “C’mon Barbie, Let’s Go Pool Party” event from 1 to 4 p.m.
In addition to a foam party and games, the park says Barbie and Ken will also be at the event to take photos.
Parkgoers are encouraged to bring their Barbie doll to the party, with free cotton candy to be offered to the first 100 people with a Barbie.
The park, located at 7855 Finch Ave. W. at Highway 427, officially opened for the season in June and is now open daily.
Other attractions at the 45-acre park include waterslides, spray toys, a tipping bucket, rides like the Klondike Express and a loop slide with a gravity-defying drop, and various themed events.
