Art project between preschoolers and seniors unveiled at Milton centre

The results of an art project that brought together young children and older adults will be on display at FirstOntario Arts Centre in Milton beginning tomorrow (June 27).

The FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton and Arts Milton collaborated to launch the Milton Generations Creative Exchange this spring, in response to the Avenues of Action outlined in Milton’s Culture Plan.

Each Sunday during the program, kids ages four and five, and adults over age 55, were matched for an art activity and a snack break together.

To showcase what they created, the program will host a public reception June 27 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Arts Centre’s Holcim Gallery. The display will last until July 14.
