Summer is ending with a bang this weekend, as the Leslieville Block Fest is looking to provide Toronto residents with a parade of food, drinks and massive displays from local artists.
Set to take place on Dundas Street East from Logan Avenue to Carlaw Avenue, this event aims to give East Toronto one last big party before the leaves turn and the temperature lowers.
Representatives for the event have indicated major changes are being implemented into this year’s party, specifically, that the 2024 Leslieville Block Fest is now free to all.
As a result of this open policy, locals and visitors can roam the grounds and enjoy some of the finest beer and cuisine provided by Ontario merchants with no admission fee.
According to event officials, this year’s block party features over 40 local vendors, all with their own take on Toronto’s food and drink scene.
For those inclined towards local beers and inventive cocktails, the Beer Experience and Lesliville Cocktail Contest will provide residents with an immersive and refreshing take on what Toronto’s mixologists have been up to.
The Leslieville Block Fest is set to kick off this Saturday, August 2024.
