A luxurious holiday banquet cruise coming to Toronto

Seasonal festivities are setting sail across Toronto’s iconic waterfront.

City Cruises Toronto, a fleet of recreational ships that provide masterful views of the city, has announced that it will host festive banquets on its boats throughout the holiday season.

Vessels are set to be loaded with holiday decorations and will sail by numerous Toronto landmarks lit up against the backdrop of glistening winter evenings.

“This is a unique holiday experience – something beyond the usual light displays and Christmas concerts,” said Mory DiMaurizio, CEO of City Cruises Canada, in an official statement. “By adding a festive Christmas twist to one of Toronto’s favourite attractions, we’re giving guests a chance to celebrate the season in a way that feels fresh, memorable and completely outside the norm.”

Guests aboard can expect festive menus, seasonal cocktails and live DJ sets throughout their time at sea (or lake).

Beyond that, guests can also anticipate an open-air top deck offering 360-degree skyline views of Toronto.

“The holiday season is one of the busiest times for group outings, and celebrating on the water adds something special,” added DiMaurizio.

City Cruises Toronto is launching its holiday brunch and dinner slots on its iconic ship, The Odyssey, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 21.
