If you are in need of a new Instagram picture, look no further and plan a road trip to one of these adventurous destinations.

5. Bonnechere Caves

Eganville, Ontario

Whether you choose to take pictures in the dark caves or by the white waters of the waterfall, visitors can be assured that they will have the perfect background to any selfie. Bonnechere Caves is Ontario’s natural underground wonder and a family owned site. The owners have guided tours that will lead you through trails, past sinkholes and obviously inside the caves. You won’t want to put your phones down!


4. Shakespeare Gardens

Stratford, Ontario

This park has many different flowers, herbs and shrubs that are named in Shakespeare’s plays.

A bust of William Shakespeare sits in the rose garden, nestled along the banks of the Avon River beside a double-arch stone bridge, stone walls and iron benches. So, whether you take a selfie by the rose garden or the river bank, this park will make the best background to any Instagram selfie.

Stratford also has four other parks, which are connected by the Avon River.

The Flowerpot Island probably got its name after the founders saw the big natural rock pillars that are shaped similar to flowerpots. Many adventurers can take selfies by the lake with the rock pillars behind them. They can also take some good pictures of the rare flowers on the island. The island also has caves and a historic light station to explore. They also make for the perfect background to a good selfie.

Algonquin, Ontario

Algonquin is the top spot for all tourists, so it was an obvious choice to be on the list of the best places to take a selfie. Many people love this provincial park to take pictures of themselves and the scenery. While visiting, you’ll of course get to see some incredible aquatic animals, however, the aquarium is also located in a great location downtown Toronto and is close to many other attractions, such as the CN Tower.
